Refund Policy

Cancelling early

Once you apply, a "Want to cancel?" option becomes available 10 minutes after your application is submitted, and stays available for the next 6 hours. Cancelling during this window gives you a 100% refund, no questions asked.

As soon as our team approves any part of your application (your photos, your age or your payment), this cancel option is removed permanently — from that point on, the 10-day matching window described below applies instead.

If our service is paused because of a technical problem, the time of the pause is not counted against your 6-hour cancel window.

The 10-day matching window

Once your profile is live, our team actively works to find you a match for 10 days. During this window, cancellations and refund requests are not available — this is the time we need to do the actual matching work.

If our service is paused

If we have a technical problem and pause our service, the time of the pause is not counted: your 10-day matching window, your 6-hour cancel window and your 25-hour refund-claim window all stop and continue exactly where they left off. No new matches are made while the service is paused.

If no match is found

If 10 days pass with no match found, your profile's validity ends and you become eligible for a 50% refund. You can claim it by logging back in within 25 hours of your validity ending — after that, the claim option is removed, and logging in again means starting a completely new application.

If your date doesn't happen

If you're matched, a ticket is confirmed, but one of you doesn't show up:

• If she doesn't show up: no refund — instead, 5 extra days are added to your remaining validity automatically, and you stay in the matching pool.
• If you don't show up: no refund. You return to the pool with whatever validity you had left, with no bonus days added.

Cancelling after a match is confirmed

If a date and time have already been set, but it hasn't happened yet:

• If you cancel: no refund, and you are not automatically returned to the matching pool.
• If she cancels: no refund, but 2 extra days are added to your remaining validity, and you stay in the matching pool.
• If you both agree to call it off: no refund, and neither of you is automatically returned to the pool.

Verification failures

If your application is rejected due to fake photos, a false age declaration, or any other violation discovered during verification, your account is blocked and no refund is issued.

Going unresponsive during verification

If you do not respond to a verification request (such as an Instagram message asking to confirm your age) within the 10-day validity window, your application expires. No refund is issued for an expired application, but you're welcome to apply again at any time.

Misconduct

Any reported misbehavior toward another user, before, during, or after a date, results in an immediate and permanent ban from Mulaqat. No refund is issued in these cases.
